Michael Schenker Group (MSG) diperkenalkan oleh geng gua yang juga peminat kumpulan Scorpions. Memang logik pun untuk sesiapa yang kenal Scorpions dan Rudolf Schenker akan kenal brother dia ni, Michael Schenker. Michael Schenker pernah main ngan Scorpions masa awal penubuhannya. Lepas tu dia keluar dan tubuhkan UFO dan MSG.

MSG adalah antara kumpulan rock yang paling melodic dalam kebanyakan lagu-lagu balada dia. MSG terkenal dengan Gibson Flying V, separuh putih, separuh hitam..
